The Sioux Falls Stampede and Omaha Lancers were locked in a fast-paced, physical battle in Omaha, with both teams trading momentum throughout an intense game.

Sioux Falls struck early to open the scoring, but Omaha answered back shortly after to even things up. Midway through the first, Sioux Falls regained the lead before Omaha responded once again. One of Omaha’s goals came from Yegor Kim, who continues his strong stretch with his fifth goal in the last six games.

Omaha carried that momentum into the second period, striking early to take the lead before adding another midway through the frame. Sioux Falls responded late in the period to pull even, setting up a tightly contested third.

The third period featured strong defensive play and steady goaltending on both sides. In overtime, Lefty Markonidis delivered the game-winner for Omaha, lifting the Lancers to victory 4-3.
