Chicago Steel vs. USA Hockey’s NTDP U18 Team

The Chicago Steel will make their first trip of the season to USA Hockey Arena riding a stretch of solid play, having earned points in six of its last ten games. The momentum comes on the heels of a two-game sweep against Omaha last weekend. Leading the charge is Providence commit Kolin Sisson, who has been a standout in November with two goals and four points through four games. Sisson paces the Steel offense, leading the team in both goals (8) and points (15).

The NTDP Under-18 Team returns to USHL action after going 2-2-0-0 at the Five Nations Tournament. Notre Dame commit Sammy Nelson had a strong showing, scoring twice to bring his season totals to five goals and 13 points. Meanwhile AJ Garcia is coming off a hat trick performance in Team USA’s lopsided 10-2 win against Czechia.

Cedar Rapids RoughRiders vs. Green Bay Gamblers

The RoughRiders hit the road this weekend for a two-game series against the Green Bay Gamblers, aiming to build on their 5-2-0-0 road record. Offensively, Justin Graf and Jason Musa have been the driving forces, sharing the team lead with 14 points apiece. Cedar Rapids has also received a major boost from forward David Bosco, who continues to impress in his first USHL campaign by leading all rookies in both goals (7) and points (13).

Green Bay has collected points in eight of its last ten games, including a current five-game point streak. The Gamblers have been bolstered by the play of defenseman Andrew O’Sullivan, who has notched points in three of his last four games and is tied for the lead among USHL blueliners with 13 points.

Tri-City Storm vs. Dubuque Fighting Saints

The Tri-City Storm will make the trek to eastern Iowa this weekend looking to turn their fortunes, having dropped their last four games. Despite currently sitting fifth in the Western Conference standings, the Storm remain well within striking distance of the top spot, just three points back of first place. North Dakota commit Carson Pilgrim has four points in four games so far this month, bringing his season total to 15 points.

The Dubuque Fighting Saints enter the weekend on a roll, with points in six of their last ten games and riding a two-game win streak. Dubuque has been dominant at home, maintaining a flawless 6-0-0-0 record on home ice. Penn State commit Masun Fleece has led the charge offensively, tallying 13 goals and 21 points on the season, while riding a three-game point streak.

About the USHL

The United States Hockey League (USHL) and its 16 teams are committed to being the world's leading junior hockey league. This season, more than 50% of NCAA Division I men's hockey players and nearly 25% of NHL players have USHL experience. The USHL has developed more than 285 direct NHL Draft picks since 2020, and eight of the last 10 Hobey Baker Award winners, including Macklin Celebrini (Chicago Steel).

Elevated through the recently announced Declaration of Excellence with the NHL and USA Hockey, the league's player-first approach, including a 2:1 practice-to-game ratio and a schedule with 92% of games played on weekends, provides its players with the optimal environment for athletic and personal growth, creating pathways for the next generation of stars like Auston Matthews (NTDP), Kyle Connor (Youngstown Phantoms), Jeremy Swayman (Sioux Falls Stampede), and Johnny Gaudreau (Dubuque Fighting Saints).
