Preliminary Rounds
  • The United States began its defense of the gold medal with a commanding 10-4 victory vs. Germany on the opening day of the championship. Cole Hutson (NTDP) led the Americans with five assists. James Hagens (NTDP) had two goals and two assists. 
  • Samuel Urban (Sioux City Musketeers) made 29 saves and Daniel Jencko (Youngstown Phantoms) scored in Slovakia's opening game, a 5-2 loss to Sweden. 
  • Michael Hrabel (Omaha Lancers) made 25 saves on 26 shots to lead Czehia to a 5-1 win vs. Switzerland. 
  • Daniel Jencko (Youngstown Phantoms) scored in his second straight game to give Slovakia a 2-1 win vs. Switzerland. Samuel Urban (Sioux City Musketeers) made 28 saves on 29 shots. Christian Kirsch had 27 saves on 29 shots. 
  • Despite an incredible goal-line save from German defenseman Norwin Panocha (Green Bay Gamblers), Finland defeated Germany, 3-1.
  • Olivers Murnieks (Sioux City Musketeers) and Rudolfs Berzkalns (Muskegon Lumberjacks) combined for four shots in Latvia's 3-2 shootout win vs. Canada. 
  • Danny Nelson (NTDP) scored a pair of goals as the U.S. toppled Latvia 5-1 in its second win of the primiliary game.
  • Olivers Murnieks (Sioux City Musketeers) and Rudolfs Berzkalns combined for four shots in Latvia's 3-2 shootout win vs. Canada. 
  • With Switzerland trailing 3-1 after the first period, Christian Kirsch (Green Bay Gamblers) stepped between the pipes to soften a 7-5 loss to Sweden.
  • Trey Augustine (NTDP) made 40 saves in the U.S.' first loss of the tournament. The Americans fells 4-3 to Finland in overtime.
  • Peter Cisar (Fargo Force) scored and Alan Lendak (Fargo Force) made 21 saves for Slovakia, but Michal Hrabel's (Omaha Lancers) 25 saves paired with Czechia's offense resulted in their 4-2 win. 
  • Maxim Strbak (Sioux Falls Stampede) had one goal and one assist, Daniel Jencko (Youngstown Phantoms) had two assists and Luka Radivojevic (Muskegon Lumberjacks) added a helper as Slovakia defeated Kazakhstan 5-4 in overtime. 
  • Latvia defeated Germany 4-3 in overtime with the help of a goal and two assists from Olivers Murnieks (Sioux City Musketeers). Norwin Panocha (Green Bay Gamblers) had an assist for Germany in the loss.
