Quinnipiac’s M&T Bank Arena to host 2024 USHL Draft
USHL Partners with Neutral Zone for Phase I and Phase II Drafts slated for May 6-7

The United States Hockey League announced today that the 2024 Phase I and Phase II Drafts will take place at M&T Bank Arena on the campus of Quinnipiac University May 6 and 7, 2024.
 
For the second consecutive year, the USHL is partnering with Neutral Zone to provide online coverage with commentary and analysis for both days of the USHL Draft.  The 2024 USHL Draft Show begins at 3:15 p.m. CST Monday afternoon and will continue Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. CST.

“We are excited to join with Quinnipiac and Neutral Zone for this year’s USHL Draft,” said USHL President and Commissioner Glenn Hefferan.  “We are delighted to come to Hamden (Conn.) for the USHL Draft, which plays an important role in the hockey journey for so many young and talented players.  We are grateful for support from Quinnipiac and its Deputy Director of Athletics Sarah Fraser as well as the ECAC and its Commissioner Doug Christiansen with this endeavor and are looking forward to heading to Connecticut the first week of May.”

The USHL Draft Tracker and USHL Draft Show links will be posted on ushl.com prior to the Draft.
 
The USHL Drafts are completed in two separate Phases, beginning with Phase I, which consists of 10 rounds of “Futures” age players, who will be under-17 players for the next season. For the 2024 Draft, this is 2008 birth year players. Tuesday is Phase II of the draft, which is open to players of all ages who are eligible to play junior hockey and are not currently on one of the protected USHL rosters.  The Phase II Draft continues until all Member Clubs have filled their Initial Protected List to a total of 45 players, including those who were previously protected from the Member Club’s affiliate list.
