The United States Hockey League (USHL) has announced the nine officials slated to work the 2026 Clark Cup Final between the Sioux Falls Stampede and Muskegon Lumberjacks, slated to start on Friday, May 15 at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.
"The officials selected to work the Clark Cup Final represent the very best of the USHL. Throughout the season and playoffs, they have demonstrated professionalism, composure, integrity, and the ability to perform under the pressure that championship hockey demands,” said USHL President and Commissioner Glenn Hefferan. “Just like our players and coaches, these referees and linesmen have earned the opportunity to work on our biggest stage, and we are proud of their commitment to the game and to the standard of excellence expected in the USHL."

"The Clark Cup Final is the pinnacle of junior hockey in the United States, and officiating at this level is very demanding,” said USHL Director of Officials John Grandt. “The officials assigned to this series have met that demand night after night, putting in the preparation, honest self-evaluation, and day-in, day-out consistency that separates good officials from great ones. I'm proud of the entire officiating staff for their dedication to continual development, and I'm looking forward to watching the crew in this year’s final."
About the USHL
The United States Hockey League (USHL) and its 16 teams are committed to being the world's leading junior hockey league. This season, more than 50% of NCAA Division I men's hockey players and nearly 25% of NHL players have USHL experience. The USHL has developed more than 285 direct NHL Draft picks since 2020, and nine of the last 10 Hobey Baker Award winners, including Macklin Celebrini (Chicago Steel).
Elevated through the recently announced Declaration of Excellence with the NHL and USA Hockey, the league's player-first approach, including a 2:1 practice-to-game ratio and a schedule with 90% of games played on weekends, provides its players with the optimal environment for athletic and personal growth, creating pathways for the next generation of stars like Auston Matthews (NTDP), Kyle Connor (Youngstown Phantoms), Jeremy Swayman (Sioux Falls Stampede), and Johnny Gaudreau (Dubuque Fighting Saints).
