June 1st – Teams can make trades and drop unlimited number of players from initial protected list.
July 10th – All teams must submit their 30-man protected list and affiliate list.
August 26th – USHL camps open.
September 1st – First day IR can be utilized.
September 14th - Teams must make necessary drops by 12 p.m. CT to get to their 24-man protected list.
September 15th - Roster adds by 12PM CT (excluding trades) do not count towards roster moves limit.
September 16th-20th – Regular Season begins at the 2026 USHL Fall Classic in Chicago.
December 3rd-6th – American Cup in Rochester, NY.
December 23rd-25th – Holiday trade freeze
December 23rd-January 2nd – USA Hockey/Hockey Canada transfer freeze.
December 31st – Last day to add free agent, non-affiliate players playing high school or midget hockey.
January 10th – Final day for Hockey Canada teams to release a player from the roster.
January 20th-24th – Frosty Cup in Frisco, Texas.
January 31st – Final day for IIHF to process a transfer.
February 6th – USA Hockey trade and drop deadline. Final day to drop or trade an import.
February 10th – Final day to add player from affiliate list to roster.
February 15th – Four (4) affiliate players may begin to play an unlimited number of games.
February 22rd – USHL Trade Deadline (6:00 p.m. CT).
March 1st – No affiliate list players are eligible to play until their season has been completed.
April 3rd – End of regular season.
May 3rd – USHL Phase I Draft.
May 4th – USHL Phase II Draft.
May 26th – Last possible game for Clark Cup Final
