After two seasons in the USHL, two in the NCAA, and 36 games in the AHL, Alex Bump made his NHL debut on Saturday, March 7, with the Philadelphia Flyers.
Following his high school season in 2021-22, Bump joined the Omaha Lancers, where he played 59 games and served as an alternate captain in his second year. He capped his junior career with the Tri-City Storm, finishing with 25 goals and 31 assists through 75 USHL games. The forward from Prior Lake, Minn. helped lead the Western Michigan Broncos to a conference championship and national title as a sophomore alternate captain in 2025 and played 36 games for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms this season before earning a call-up. He had 37 goals and 46 assists in 80 NCAA games and was nearly a point-per-game player in the AHL with Lehigh Valley since signing a contract and making the jump to pro at the end of the 2024-25 season.
