Fargo became the second team to secure its place in the postseason, clinching a playoff spot in a hard-fought 3-2 victory against Sioux Falls, Green Bay edged past Madison 2-1, and Omaha posted a 3-0 shutout win against Waterloo.
Across the USHL, games were tightly contested and physical. Tight checking and disciplined defensive play limited quality chances. Timely goaltending and execution ultimately proved to be the difference in a competitive slate.
