Four of the seven winners were outshot on Friday night, including Fargo, which got goals from six different players to beat Youngstown 6–4. Waterloo pulled away from Dubuque with four goals in the third period, led by two from Hayden Russell and one from Western Michigan commit Cayden Jackman. Sioux Falls captains Joey Macrina and Cooper Soller both scored in a 5–2 win over Sioux City, and Ryan Cameron made 34 saves. In Muskegon, New York Rangers pick Felix Färhammar and rookie scoring leader Zaac Charbonneau each scored, and Drew Fox added two goals in a 6–3 win over Madison.
