Friday, Sept. 27

  • Daniel Shlaine recorded the first hat trick of the USHL season as Lincoln defeated Green Bay 9-1. (Box Score)
  • The Fargo Force struck three times in the third period as it defeated the NTDP 4-1 in their home opener at Scheels Arena. (Box Score)
  • Dubuque got early goals from Cooper Dennis and Torkel Jennersjo and never looked back as they claimed a 5-1 victory over Tri-City. (Box Score)
  • Chicago's Jack Parsons shut down Muskegon 3-2 in a shootout with a 43-save night. (Box Score)
  • Adam Benak scored his first USHL goal for the Phantoms as they beat Madison in a shootout, 3-2. (Box Score)



Saturday, Sept. 28

  • Tied through two periods, Chicago scored twice before the midway point of the third to defeat Youngstown 3-2 at the Fox Valley Ice Arena. (Box Score)
  • Asher Barnett had a three-point game for the NTDP, which established a 3-1 lead over Fargo in the opening 20 minutes and killed six penalties in the final two periods to win 5-2 on the road. (Box Score)
  • After beating Green Bay 9-1 on Friday, Lincoln led 4-1 at 4:48 of the second period before the tide shifted. Green Bay's two third-period goals sent the game to OT. Blake Montgomery's second goal of the game made the difference in extra time. (Box Score)
  • Sioux City went 3/5 on the power play en route to a 6-3 win vs. rival Sioux Falls. (Box Score)
  • Special teams were a key factor between Waterloo and Des Moines as the Black Hawks went 3/5 while the Buccaneers went 2/7. Nicholas Kosiba's goal early in the third period was the difference for Waterloo (Box Score)
  • Shikhabutdin Gadzhiev posted a 34-save shutout and Davis Borozinskis scored a power-play goal at 7:26 of the third period to push Muskegon over Madison, 1-0 (Box Score)
  • Scoreless through the first period, Tri-City led Cedar Rapids 3-0 after the midway point of the third period. The RoughRiders' lone goal wasn't enough for the Storm to blow over. (Box Score)
