Jake Rozzi, Lukas Peterson and Yan Shostak earn league honors for outstanding performances following the First Round of the 2024 USHL Playoffs
 
Jake Rozzi (Tri-City), Lukas Peterson (Green Bay) and Yan Shostak (Lincoln) have earned United States Hockey League (USHL) Player of the Week honors following the First Round of the 2024 USHL Playoffs, the league announced Monday.
 
Forward of the Week
Jake Rozzi | Tri-City | Kirland, Quebec
NCAA Commitment: Ohio State
Birth Year: 2004
  • 3 GP, 3 goals, 3 assists, 6 points, 8 shots on goal, +5 plus-minus rating
  • Led all USHL skaters in scoring with six points in helping Tri-City to a first-round series win over Sioux Falls
  • Scored three times and had an assist vs. Sioux Falls in the first game of the USHL playoffs Monday
  • Had two assists, including one on Owen Beckner’s overtime game-winner, in a 3-2 victory over the Stampede Tuesday night­

  • 3 GP, 2 goals, 1 assist, 3 points, +2 plus-minus rating, 12 shots on goal
  • Helped lead Green Bay to Clark Cup Playoffs series win over Chicago
  • Scored twice and had an assist in a 6-5 win over Chicago in the first game of the 2024 Clark Cup Playoffs Monday
  • Led all USHL defensemen with 12 shots on goal in the first round of the 2024 Clark Cup Playoffs 
Goaltender of the Week
Yan Shostak | Lincoln | Minsk, Belarus

Birth Year: 2004
  • 2 GP, 2-0-0-0, 120:00 minutes, 1 GA, 79 saves, 0.50 goals against average, 0.988 save percentage
  • Stopped 40 shots in a 1-0 shutout victory at Waterloo Monday in the first game of the 2024 Clark Cup Playoffs
  • Had 39 saves in Tuesday’s 6-1 win over the Black Hawks in helping the Stars in their series-clinching win 
  • Led all USHL goaltenders in goals against average and save percentage in the First Round of the USHL Playoffs as Lincoln advanced to the Conference Semifinals
USHL Clark Cup Playoff action continues with Conference Semifinal action getting underway Friday with Lincoln and Sioux City squaring-off. The other three matchups, which are slated to begin Saturday, feature Tri-City vs. Fargo, Youngstown vs. Dubuque and Green Bay vs. Muskegon.
