USHL Players of the Week Named for March 25-31
James Hagens, Fisher Scott and Yan Shostak earn league honors for outstanding performances last week
 
James Hagens (USA Hockey NTDP), Fisher Scott (Dubuque) and Yan Shostak (Lincoln) have earned United States Hockey League (USHL) Player of the Week honors for Week 27, the league announced Monday.
 
Forward of the Week

Birth Year: 2006
  • 2 GP, 5 goals, 3 assists, 8 points, 9 shots on goal and +6 in helping USA Hockey NTDP U18s to a 1-0-0-1 record last week
  • Had a goal and an assist in a 5-4 shootout win at Dubuque last Friday
  • Including a shorthanded goal, scored four times and had two assists vs. Dubuque Saturday
  • Currently in the midst of a five-game point-scoring streak (7-6—13)
  • Has registered 16-27—43 in 24 USHL games played this year

  • Assisted on a Noah Powell goal vs. USA Hockey NTDP U18s last Friday
  • Scored the overtime game-winning goal and had an assist in Saturday’s 7-6 win over the U18s
  • Stands tied for second amongst all USHL defensemen with three game-winning goals this year
  • Has 8-23—31 in 57 games played to rank 12th in USHL defensemen scoring on the season

  • 2 GP, 2-0-0-0, 125:00 minutes, 2 GA, 70 saves, 0.96 goals against average, 0.964 save percentage
  • Stopped 35 of 36 shots in 5-1 home win over Sioux Falls last Friday
  • Had 35 saves on 36 shots in a 2-1 shootout win over Tri-City Saturday. Stopped all three shots in the shootout
  • Has gone 3-1-0-0 with a 2.25 goals against average and a .934 save percentage in last four appearances
  • Owns an 18-17-1-1 record on the season with a 3.10 goals against average and a .900 save percentage
