2024 Frosty Cup to Take Place in Texas for Fifth Time

Dubuque and Sioux Falls set to square-off in Dallas

      Dallas, Tex. – A pair of the top teams in the United States Hockey League - the Dubuque Fighting Saints and the Sioux Falls Stampede square-off in a pair of regular season games highlighting the fifth annual USHL Frosty Cup in Dallas at the end of this month.

“The USHL is excited to bring the Frosty Cup back to Dallas for its fifth year, showcasing some of the best young talent in hockey today. The matchups between the Dubuque Fighting Saints and the Sioux Falls Stampede promise to be a highlight, featuring players who are not only stars in our league but also future talents in the NHL," said President and Commissioner Glenn Hefferan. "The participation of youth teams from across the country, including the local Dallas Stars Elite, is incredibly valuable for these young players as they get to preview top talent from the USHL.”

Now in its fifth year, the USHL Frosty Cup, a premier youth hockey event, is hosted annually at the Comerica Center in Frisco, Tex., by the USHL and Dallas Stars. This year’s installment features 56 youth teams from 14 states descending on The Lone Star State, and is highlighted by a pair of regular season USHL games. The two USHL teams heading to Dallas feature players who have been selected in the NHL Draft including Artur Cholach (Sioux Falls, drafted by Vegas in 2021, sixth round, #190), Kevin Reidler (Dubuque, drafted by Ottawa in 2022, fifth round #151) and Juraj Pekarcik (Dubuque, drafted by St. Louis in 2023, third round #76).
