Sioux Falls Stampede Draft Preview

Sioux Falls, which has had 54 players selected in the NHL Draft since 2002, had two players selected in the 2022 NHL Draft in
Ryan Healey (#121 by Minnesota) and
Adam Zlinka (#204 by Arizona).

Cole Sillinger, who was picked 12th overall by the Columbus Blue Jackets during the 2021 NHL Draft, owns the distinction as the highest-ever Sioux Falls Stampede draft pick.

A rookie defenseman for the Stampede in 2022-23, Strbak registered 5-13--18 in 46 games played. The Košice, Slovakia native had a goal and an assist vs. Muskegon Sept. 22.
Christopher Pelosi

College Commitment: Quinnipiac
A native of Sewell, N.J., and committed to Quinnipiac, Pelosi scored 13 goals and added six assists for 19 points in 43 games in his first year in the USHL in 2022-23. A product of the Mount St. Charles prep program, Pelosi had a goal and an assist in a 5-2 win over Des Moines.
