Omaha Lancers 3 @ Indiana Ice 2
Matt White broke a 2-2 tie with his third goal in as many games to help the Lancers avenge last night's shootout loss. Erik Haula added his 25th goal of the year for Omaha and Stefan Demopoulos also scored in the victory. Bryon Paulazzo tallied both goals for the Ice and has now scored five goals over his four-game goal streak. John Keeney made 22 saves to win his third straight start for the Lancers.
Sioux City Musketeers 3 @ Youngstown Phantoms 2
Adam Schmidt tied the contest in the third period and Mitch Zion netted the game-winner for the Musketeers to earn a weekend split with the Phantoms. Nick Sorkin had a two-point game (1g, 1a) for the second straight night and goaltender Jake Hildebrand earned his first USHL victory making 28 saves. Jefferson Dahl scored his 15th of the season and Brett Gensler potted his 16th of the year for Youngstown.
Sioux Falls Stampede 4 @ Des Moines Buccaneers 5
The Bucs scored three goals in the third period including a goal by Connor Brickley with under four minutes to play which snapped a five-game winless skid (0-4-1) for Des Moines. Chris Stafne tallied two goals for the Bucs and H.T. Lenz collected his 18th goal of the season. Matt Lindblad scored a goal for the third straight game for the Stampede and Michael Voran tallied his 21st of the season. Bucs goaltender Eric Mihalik made 36 saves in the win.
Lincoln Stars 2 @ Fargo Force 3
Garrett Allen opened the contest with his 20th goal of the season with just 42 second remaining in the first period and Colten St. Clair netted the game-winner for Fargo with under two minutes to play in the third. Chase Grant added his 28th goal of the season and goaltender Ryan Massa made 18 saves to post his 16th win of the year. Both Sam Alfieri and Austin Handley scored their second goal over their past three games for Lincoln.
Team USA 3 @ Waterloo Black Hawks 1
Brandon Saad's 12th goal of the season proved to be the game-winner and Jack Campbell made 21 saves to lead Team USA to the victory. Bryan Rust and Justin Faulk also found the back of the net for Team USA. Scott Wamsganz tallied the lone goal for the Black Hawks.
Green Bay Gamblers 0 @ Cedar Rapids RoughRiders 2
Goaltender Cody Campbell stopped all 29 shots he faced to record his second shutout of the season for Cedar Rapids and win his fifth straight start. Peter Sakaris netted the game-winner for the second night in a row and David Boehm (1g, 1a) earned his second straight multi-point game. It was the first regulation loss for Green Bay in their last nine games (6-1-2).
Tri-City Storm 2 @ Chicago Steel 4
Defenseman Dan Kolomatis tallied the game-winning goal and Cole Gunner recorded two points (1g, 1a) to lead the Steel. Danny Mattson and Jay Camper also scored for Chicago and Connor Wilson made 23 saves to post his 12th victory of the season. Brett Mohler scored a goal to extend his point streak to six games for the Storm and USHL leading scorer Jaden Schwartz registered his 31st goal of the season.
