Indiana scored the first five goals of the game, including four in the second period, in the rematch of last season's Clark Cup Finals. Two goals by Kevin Goumas helped the Ice end a two-game slide. Shane Berschbach picked up three assists in his first game back after playing in the World Junior A Challenge. Nate Condon tallied a goal as a part of three-goal third period for the Force and extended his point streak to three games. Corey Leivermann collected two assists for Fargo to extend his point streak to four games.
Green Bay Gamblers 4 @ Youngstown Phantoms 3
The Gamblers avenged their Wednesday night loss and snapped the five-game win streak for the Phantoms. Anders Lee tallied two goals for the Gamblers extending his point streak to five games. He has five goals over that span and has become the second USHL player this season to score 10 goals. Brett Gensler netted a shorthanded goal for Youngstown, his team-leading ninth of the season. Phantoms forward Jefferson Dahl scored a goal against his former club.
Des Moines Buccaneers 8 @ Lincoln Stars 4
After a scoreless first period, the teams exploded for 12 goals over the final two frames. The Bucs scored four goals in each of the final two periods. A four-point game by both Ryan Walters (1g, 3a) and Connor Brickley (1g, 3a) led the way for Des Moines while team leading scorer T.J. Tynan (2g, 1a) registered his third straight multi-point game. Defenseman Brandon Carlson dished out three assists for the Bucs. Brodie Reid scored three of the four Lincoln goals to register the third hat trick of the season in the USHL.
Sioux City Musketeers 2 @ Omaha Lancers 3
The Musketeers scored the first goal and the last goal of the game, but it wasn't enough as the Lancers tallied a goal in each period to claim their 10th consecutive victory. Omaha forwards Nick Oddo and Seth Ambroz each notched a goal for the second straight game. Matt White's goal proved to be the game-winner, his third straight game with a goal and League best 10th straight game with a point. Darik Angeli brought the Musketeers within a goal by scoring with just 21 seconds remaining, his second in as many games, but the Lancers held off a late charge to secure the victory.
Cedar Rapids RoughRiders 4 @ Sioux Falls Stampede 3 (SO)
The RoughRiders scored the first three goals of the game but the Stampede evened the game by scoring the next three. After a scoreless overtime, the game went to a shootout. It took seven rounds to determine the winner as Justin Kovacs scored on his attempt to earn the victory for Cedar Rapids. Eric Robinson led the RoughRiders with two points (1g, 1a) and also scored on his shootout attempt. Matt Lindblad (1g, 1a) and Michael Voran (2a) each had two points for Sioux Falls and both converted on their shootout attempts. The win ended a three-game slide for Cedar Rapids and snapped the Stampede's four-game win streak.
Tri-City Storm 2 @ Waterloo Black Hawks 4
Waterloo scored the first four goals of the game, including three in the first period, and won consecutive games for the first time this season. Brock Montpetit scored a pair of first-period goals for Waterloo and extended his point streak to three games. Tyler Barnes (1g, 3a) registered a point on all four Black Hawks for his second consecutive four-point game and third straight game with a goal.
