Des Moines Buccaneers 3 @ Chicago Steel 6
The Bucs scored first, but the Steel scored five of the next six goals on their way to a victory and reclaiming the top spot in the East Division standings. Steel scoring leader Sahir Gill tallied two goals and one assist ending his two-game scoreless drought and teammate Andrei Kuchin recorded two points (1g, 1a) including his 15th assist of the season, which is tied for the USHL lead. Bucs forward T.J. Tynan registered his second consecutive multi-point game as he registered an assist on all three Des Moines goals. Connor Brickley scored two goals for the Bucs fresh off his appearance with Team USA at the World Junior A Challenge.

Green Bay Gamblers 2 @ Youngstown Phantoms 3
The Phantoms scored the first three goals of the game, then held off a late charge by the Gamblers to claim their fifth straight victory. Youngstown won despite being outshot 35-9 in the contest. The nine shots set a USHL record for fewest in a game. Team scoring leader Taylor Holstrom and Brian Dowd also scored a goal for their second game in a row. Goaltender Matt Mahalak earned his first home victory making 33 saves and also dished out an assist. Anders Lee scored a goal for the Gamblers to extend his point streak to four games. It was the first regulation loss of the season for Green Bay goaltender Steve Summerhays (6-1-1).
Omaha Lancers 4 @ Tri-City Storm 1
The Lancers continued their winning ways and extended their streak to nine consecutive victories. Matt White regained the USHL scoring lead with a three-point night (1g, 2a). The Lancers forward is on a nine-game point streak and multiple points in four of his last five contests. Erik Haula also recorded a multi-point game (2a) and the Omaha forward has 11 points (6g, 5a) over his last six games. Goaltender Jeff Teglia won his seventh straight start as he made a season high 37 saves. It was the first regulation loss on home ice this season for the Storm.
