Ambroz Leads U.S. U-17 Team to Victory

Omaha Lancers forward Seth Ambroz scored two goals to help lead the U.S. National Under-17 Team to a 5-2 victory over Russia in the opening game of the 2009 Under-17 Four Nations Cup being played in Trnava, Slovakia.

Team USA is taking a break from the USHL schedule this week to compete in the international tournament.  Ambroz and Youngstown Phantoms goaltender Matt Mahalak have joined Team USA for the event, after which they will return to their respective USHL clubs next week.

The U.S. National Under-18 Team is competing in the 2009 Under-18 Four Nations Cup in Finland.  They will return to USHL action on November 14th and 15th.
