Tri-City Storm 5 @ Youngstown Phantoms 5

Brett Mohler scored the first goal and last goal of the game, plus tallied an assist to finish with a three-point night for the Storm.  It was his first goals of the season.  Jaden Schwartz collected three assists for the victors while Radoslav Illo scored his team-leading fifth goal of the season.  Luke Eibler scored two goals to lead the Phantoms, his first tallies of the year.  Carsen Chubak earned his fourth victory by making 16 saves in net.

Team USA 3 @ Sioux City Musketeers 4 (OT)

Team USA built a 3-1 lead, but the Musketeers clawed their way back and tied the contest late in the third period.  Ryan Kesti was the hero in the extra frame as his first goal of the season was the overtime winner.  Andrew Sinelli and Adam Schmidt both had a pair of assists for a Sioux City club that was the only USHL home team on Friday night to win.  Despite the loss, Team USA earned their first point of the season.

Fargo Force 3 @ Des Moines Buccaneers 2

The Force built a 3-0 lead after the first two periods of play then held on in the third period despite a pair of goals from Des Moines forward H.T. Lenz.  Garrett Allen (1g, 1a), Johnnie Searfoss (1g, 1a), and Matt Leitner (2a) all had multi-point games for Fargo which has won three straight games.  Cody Campbell was credited with the victory with an 18-save effort between the pipes.

Indiana Ice 3 @ Green Bay Gamblers 2 (OT)

It was a matchup of the defending Clark Cup champion Indiana Ice vs. the defending Anderson Cup champion Green Bay Gamblers which couldn't be decided in just 60 minutes of play.  After taking a 2-1 lead, the Ice appeared to be on their way to a win until Gamblers forward Anders Lee deflected a Brian O'Rourke point shot past Ice goaltender Cab Morris with just 49 seconds left in regulation to send the game to overtime.  The fans were getting ready for a shootout until the Ice stunned the home crowd when Anthony Bitetto crashed the net and scored with just four seconds remaining in overtime to secure the win.

Chicago Steel 7 @ Lincoln Stars 5

It was a high-scoring contest at the Ice Box as the two clubs combined for five goals over the first 20 minutes of play.  After one goal in the second period, six more goals were scored in the final period.  USHL leading scorer Sahir Gill scored three points (2g, 1a) for the Steel while teammate Alex Krushelnyski also had a three-point night (1g, 2a) to extend his League best scoring streak to seven games.  Steel forward Mark Anthoine scored his USHL leading sixth goal of the season.  Dominik Shine led the Stars with three points (2g, 1a).  Connor Wilson earned his first win of the season by making 40 saves for Chicago.

Omaha Lancers 7 @ Waterloo Black Hawks 4

Waterloo lit the lamp first, but the Lancers exploded for the next six goals on the way to their fifth win of the season which moved them into a tie for the lead in West Division standings.  The Black Hawks made it interesting in the third period when they scored three goals in a span of 3:12, but Seth Ambroz capped the victory with an empty net goal, his second of the game and fifth over the past four games.  Lancers defenseman Dennis Brown had just one point coming into the game, but had a career night with four points (2g, 2a).  Tyler Zepeda registered three points (2g, 1a) for Waterloo.
