The Indiana Ice announced that goaltender Cab Morris has committed to Dartmouth College and will enroll at the school in the fall of 2011.

The 6-3, 195-pound netminder made his USHL debut on Saturday making 18 saves as the Ice won their home-opener 4-1 over Team USA.  Morris, 18, was selected by the Ice in the eighth round of the 2009 USHL Entry Draft in May.  The Wilmette, Illinois native spent last season at Hotchkiss Prep School in Connecticut.

Morris' Ice teammate Billy Fitzgerald is also committed to Dartmouth College along with Sioux Falls Stampede forward Matt Lindblad.

Seven USHL alumni are currently on the roster for the Ivy League's Dartmouth Big Green; Jason Bourgea (Indiana Ice), Troy Mattila (Tri-City Storm), Kyle Reeds (Waterloo Black Hawks), Doug Jones (Cedar Rapids RoughRiders), Evan Stephens (Cedar Rapids RoughRiders), Mike Keenan (Sioux City Musketeers), and Danny Markowitz (Tri-City Storm/Ohio Jr. Blue Jackets).  Former Tri-City Storm assistant coach John Rose is on the coaching staff at Dartmouth College.
