It was a wild contest that saw seven goals scored in the first period between the two clubs. After being held scoreless in his first four games, Ben Lynch had a pair of goals, including the overtime game-winner to lead the Stars to their second home win of the season. David Gerths and Jarrod Mermis each had three assists for Lincoln while Taylor Holstrom maintained his hot scoring pace with three points (2g, 1a) for the Phantoms.
