Sioux City Musketeers 4 @ Team USA 2
The Musketeers got their first win of the season as Matt Skoff made 19 saves in net. Across the ice, Matt McNeely made 40 saves for Team USA. Sioux City tallied three goals in a span of 3:10 in the second period to take control of the contest. Austin Hervey scored in his debut with Team USA
Youngstown Phantoms 6 @ Lincoln Stars 7 (OT)
It was a wild contest that saw seven goals scored in the first period between the two clubs. After being held scoreless in his first four games, Ben Lynch had a pair of goals, including the overtime game-winner to lead the Stars to their second home win of the season. David Gerths and Jarrod Mermis each had three assists for Lincoln while Taylor Holstrom maintained his hot scoring pace with three points (2g, 1a) for the Phantoms.
Green Bay Gamblers 0 @ Omaha Lancers 5
Joe Phillippi made his first USHL start and stopped all 13 Green Bay shots to earn the shutout victory for the Lancers. Matt White led the way with four points (2g, 2a) and Erik Haula tallied three points (1g, 2a) for the undefeated Lancers (3-0-0).
Waterloo Black Hawks 1 @ Sioux Falls Stampede 9
It was the "Matt" show for Sioux Falls as Matt Zarbo and Matt Bailey each had two goals while Matt Lindblad chipped a goal of his own. Captain Chad Ruhwedel led all scorers with three points (1g, 2a) for the Stampede. Lino Chimieti earned the win with 25 saves in net.
Fargo Force 6 @ Tri-City Storm 5 (OT)
In the second overtime game of the evening, Matt Leitner led the Force with three points (2g, 1a) and the first goal of the season for Johnnie Searfoss was a big one as he scored just 27 seconds into the extra session to claim a key road victory for Fargo. Radoslav Illo tallied three points (2g, 1a) and Anthony DeCenzo also had a three-point night (1g, 2a) for the Storm.
