Reed Seckel scored a pair of goals and added an assist while Ryan McKay made 23 to saves to earn the shutout for the Gamblers. Team USA goaltender Matt McNeely made a league season high 50 saves in the loss.
Sioux Falls Stampede 3 @ Sioux City Musketeers 1
Sam Coatta netted two goals in the first period as a part of a three-goal first 20 minutes for the Stampede. Clay Witt made 27 saves to earn the victory as Sioux Falls remains unbeaten in regulation this season (3-0-1) and sit on top of the West Division standings.
Youngstown Phantoms 5 @ Des Moines Buccaneers 4
The Phantoms gained their first USHL as Jefferson Dahl led the way with two goals in a span of 1:39, including the shorthanded game-winner in the second period.
Lincoln Stars 1 @ Omaha Lancers 3
Troy Power scored two goals in the first period and goaltender Jeff Teglia stopped 25 shots as the Lancers remain unbeaten on the season (2-0-0).
Cedar Rapids RoughRiders 4 @ Waterloo Black Hawks 1
Jeff Costello had is second multi-goal game of the season scoring two, including the game-winner to push Cedar Rapids to a 3-0-0 record on the season. Troy Grosenick stopped 22 shots in net for the Riders.
Indiana Ice 3 @ Tri-City Storm 4 (OT)
Tyler Pistone was the hero scoring his first goal of the year at 2:35 of overtime to give the Storm their second win in as many nights and only the second home team in the USHL on Saturday night to earn a victory (Omaha).
