Veteran defenseman awarded “C” by his teammates

Defenseman Dominic Racobaldo has been named captain of the Fargo Force as determined by a vote of his teammates.

The veteran defenseman is two games shy of 100 regular season contests for his USHL career.  He collected 10 points (1g, 9a), including his first USHL goal, and 50 penalty minutes for the Force last season after being acquired in a trade with the Omaha Lancers.  As a rookie in the League, he dished out five assists in 41 games during the 2010-11 season.

Racobaldo is a 20-year-old native of Pennsauken, New Jersey.  The 6-2, 216-pound native has also appeared in eight career USHL playoff games.

Joining Racobaldo in leadership roles for the Force this season are veteran USHL players Nate Arentz, Justin Wade, and Taylor Fleming who will all wear an “A” on their uniforms as team assistant captains.
